Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 7/14/2026

Our Commitment
getHotRacks.com is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities, including those who use assistive technology such as screen readers, magnification tools, voice recognition software, or keyboard-only navigation. We believe everyone should be able to browse, shop, and get support from our site without unnecessary barriers, and we're working on an ongoing basis to improve the usability and accessibility of our website for all visitors.

Standards We Reference
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our internal reference point for accessibility improvements. These guidelines are developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. We are actively working toward alignment with these guidelines across our site.

What We're Doing
As we build and update Hot Racks, we aim to:

  • Provide meaningful alternative text for product images
  • Ensure the site can be navigated using a keyboard alone
  • Maintain sufficient color contrast between text and background
  • Use clear, descriptive labels on forms, buttons, and interactive elements (including our device/mount configurator)
  • Structure content with proper headings so it's easier to navigate with assistive technology
  • Periodically review our site using accessibility evaluation tools and make corrections as issues are identified

Known Limitations
Digital accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. Some areas of our site — including third-party apps, embedded content, or older pages — may not yet fully meet every accessibility guideline. We're actively working to identify and correct these gaps. If a specific product feature presents a barrier, please let us know using the contact information below so we can prioritize it.

Third-Party Content
Our website may include content, tools, or checkout functionality provided by third-party vendors (for example, our e-commerce platform, payment processor, or embedded apps). While we select vendors that share our commitment to accessibility where possible, we don't have direct control over the accessibility of all third-party code running on our site.

Feedback & Assistance
If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of our website, or if you need assistance completing a purchase, please contact us:

  • Email: justin.aqueous@gmail.com
  • Response time: We aim to respond within 5 business days.

When contacting us, it's helpful (though not required) if you can describe:

  • The page or feature you were trying to use
  • What assistive technology or browser you were using, if applicable
  • What happened, and what you expected to happen instead

We take all accessibility feedback seriously and will work with you to provide the information, product, or service you're looking for through an alternative method if needed, while we address the underlying issue.

Ongoing Improvement
This statement reflects our accessibility efforts as of the date above. As we update our website, add new features, or adopt new tools, we will revisit this statement and our practices to reflect our current status.
